Thank you. That's a really good question. I honestly have no idea. lol. It was my first time rendering with a ball point pen and just kind of attacked it without much thought. The ink didn't really build up on the pen until the drawing was nearly done. I guess the only way to really prevent this is to twist the pen as you draw or wipe the tip off with a tissue periodically.

Of course the Kubert school would assign ball point pen sketches now. I did hundreds of these while there and can't remember a single time that I could actually turn one in. Haha! Just out of curiosity, which teacher is assigning these? Whoever it is better not be letting you guys pencil first!

Thanks! Luckily these days printers are capable reproducing nearly anything. As long as it makes a mark, its worth experimenting with.
